we are now starting research on Cd covers. I have started doing research on fonts for the album cover and Ideas of poses for the artiste and CD Cover.
(idea for a dance pose)When researching I found that a lot of artiste who are featured on the album released and distributed their track through an album full of single tracks, such as 'clubland'.
Clubland is a series of albums which releases music hardcore/commercial dance. this is very appropriate for the demographic audience from my research.
I have done a lot of research into covers and have come up with a draft idea of the album. We thought of a name which would be featured almost an iconic symbol in which people would recognize when hearing or seeing. we decided to call the album 'ADDICTED2 HARDCORE. this album will feature our artiste 'sublime'.
"I thought off many names for the album such as":
- The Sound Of The Hardcore
- Need 4 Hardcore
- Ministry Of Hardcore
- The Best of Hardcore
- Summer Slammer
However 'ADDICTED2 HARDCORE' was the popular choice out of the list i came up with

From looking at all my textual analysis and research on album covers for the genre 'Hardcore/dance'. I can use this as a template and a guide for when i start to do my front cover. i have made notes as guides and reminders of the codes and conventions!
