Reflection on draft mock ups

I have created some draft mock ups of the CD front cover 'addicted2 hardcore' on which the artiste will be distributed on. Sublime will be 'created' as well known hardcore artiste. she will be placed next to other well know artiste 'Darren styles' and 'Hixxy'. this will make the album seem more connected to the hardcore genre and the consumer will be familiarly with the popularity of the album if they know if 'Hixxy' is  featured.

The drafts so far i have created are very good but there are still things that can be changed. I am going to be looking to see if i can create a colour theme. from research a lot of the clubland albums, have different colour themes for each of their albums.

MY IDEAS
  1. therefor 'addicted2 hardcore 3' might have a blue/pink colour theme
previous albums might have green/purple. very bright colours which represent the vibe of the music and the setting of the club lights
  • maybe have some other albums the produced 'addcited2 hardcore' have prevously produced in the inlay
  • an event being put on by addicted2 hardcore or by the record label 'raverbaby'

the pictures i have chosen are very suited. they are set in the stock setting of codes convention of a hardcore, which is a club. there are strobe/neon lights to create a feeling of a night life. the gesture and body language is set a dance pose.

Theres whistle and rave gloves, which helps present the style of music which is dance because the costume is dance/rave. similar to what people wear at the clubs/raves.

i well hopfuly have a finshed album cover at the weekend and hopfuly some images of the artiste or is featured on the track 'sublime'.
